Folks, were down to 2 colours for our new build for the external windows. Golden oak or Cream. I know 2 opposites. Any pros and cons with either.
Mrs tred is attracted more to the cream, I am skeptical are we just as well go white and not pay the extra bucks!. Any thoughts?

    Are they PVC?

Will cream cost you more than the oak?

I went for cream for my build and I'm delighted I did.

It was a toss up between wood effect and cream and I took a punt on the cream having not seen too many houses with cream windows.

I'm not living in the house yet(not long to go though thankfully :)) so can't give you any disadvantages that way but just from painting the house itself I felt the cream windows limited the colours that could have been used. Alot of houses are painted some version of cream so this would not have gone with the windows.

This pushed me down the road of olive garden which is from Dulux and I think it goes brilliant with the cream windows and white quoins. Maybe not for everyone though.

Overall I think cream windows will add some extra brightness to the look of your house, inside and out.

I will try and add a picture for you to see the windows. Bear with me as I've never put a pic up before.

Hope this is of some benefit to you anyways.
