Myself and a friend are thinking about doing something different this Friday lunchtime but haven't a clue about what we should do.

Are there any ideas out there from anyone? It would need to be within the vicinity of Grafton Street to Henry Street and everywhere in between. We're flexible on time(from 12.30 -14.30)...

    All suggestions welcome...:)

I've been using SoHo on the corner of George's St. and Exchequer St. a bit recently. It's top notch. Starter and main or main and beer for a tenner. A small menu that changes daily and the food is cracking. Mix of chili, pasta, homemade burger and chips sort of thing but also nice little peculiars on occassion too.
Good spaces, on street seating, nice and simple decor and a linen napkins.

Couple of restaurant and site recommendations on this thread: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?threadid=2055952623

One place I like is Acupulco on Georges St, its a Mexican place. Hairy Lemon is another option. Actually theres a few good Mexican options, if your looking for something different to pub grub. Boojom in the Italian Quarter and Pablo Picante on Pembroke St, all close enough to Grafton St.
