Hey folks bit of a newbie here im looking into getting myself an aeg in the next few weeks and some of the gear and what not . now my uncle is fairly familiar with the sport and ive gotten loads of advice from different people about my loadout so im pretty sorted from that point of view . but after i have all my guns and gear im pretty stuck after that . see i dont know any teams or many locations . im not to sure how it works do i just pop out to a site like red barn (i live in glasnevin which is north county dublin btw) and sign up for a game or do i have to find a team and go with them ? is there a range that you can practise on ?is there specific things i need other than weapons protective gear and spare clips ? any help would be appreciated . sorry as well if im posting in the wrong area or if there are already posts for this sort of thing i didnt have much luck searching for them . thanks in advance :)

No need to join a team to play. I only started playing recently and have been going to HRTA every Sunday. I dont think you need a lot of players to enjoy yourself. The important items to bring are good eye protection and a willingness to get stuck in and enjoy yourself.
Spend some time playing before considering joining a team. You might find that your enjoy it anyway with whoever turns up.
Welcome to the sport and enjoy it.

What Peter said really, I'm on a team, but enjoy playing a lot more when its a group of mates, its a lot more fun. You don't need a team at all!

It only comes out for special situations!!!!

And to the OP be careful who you trust to play alongside as they may betray you!

I dont understand what you mean. I ensured you both had a bonding session where you both chose to get very wet.
Go ADMIT IT, you both enjoyed the day especially the end. My participation was minimal.

Come up to HRTA on Sunday when justice will prevail and you can have a ringside seat, assuming the other pair have the cahones for a sidearms duel(Yes Thermo you may use your *mm elephant gun).

It's already been answered on the first thread and asking in too many threads will get you in trouble.:)
