    Hi there,

Is there an easy way to test this myself ( i.e. the headlights need to be focused at a certain point from a certain distance ) or do I have to bring it to a garage to get it checked?

    Thanks!

    J.

Basic headlight alighment can be down up against a brick all,
but most garages only charge €20 for this service so might be worth
    it.

Thanks for your replies, I've already found a page on Google and if it look like too much hassle I'll contact my local garage and see what they charge...

i had a headlight out of alignment 4 the last nct. all i did was drive as close as possibly up to the loading bay door in work. each headlight shud have a horizontal line on the door. marked the line with tape and then reversed about 5-6 feet away. as you move away the horizontal line becomes diagonal line. then made sure that the top of both diagonal lines from each headlight were about an inch below the line i had marked on the door. and it was obvsiously ok coz i passed wen i went bk.
