So to all you hardocre apple fans,

After reading on engadget and macrumors, with all this talk about such a large issue about the reception, will you still be buying the iphone 4?
I have to admit I was 100% getting one even before it was announced as I loved my 3g and love my 3gs, but im now 50/50 on getting the new one!

    What do you all think?

Voted no just cause I only got my 3gs last October or something , might get an ipad though :)

No because the improvements aren't worthwhile for me as I have a good standalone camera and a laptop.

I'll probably get every second version (currently have a 3GS).

Wouldn't piss on an iPad either

Had a 3gs, went to android, then n900, now back to a 3gs I got second hand. Only bought it 2 weeks ago under the assumption there will be huge delays for the iphone 4, the plan being to buy a 4 when I could get my hands on one.

Tbh, now I've got the 3Gs back, I probably wont upgrade, high res screen is the only difference that matters to me so im a bit meh.

If I was set on buying one, the signal issue would not worry me too much, I think it's being blown out of proportion.

don't think so. even if i did, it'd be after the bugs and issues are fixed.

Currently have the 3G, so I would have defo considered upgrading asap, but with the current bugs plus the hassle in trying to get one due to low supply, I think I am going to hold out for awhile. My 3G is working perfectly and is still a great phone for my needs so I am in no rush.

    Totally.

Really want a decent still/video camera with flash as it's one of the functions I use most (have small kids).

Not bothered by reception issues in the least. Don't make many calls and use wifi in work and at home. Not gone on the new look, but it's all about the OS and the features (except for a radio) for me.

voted no. Really happy with my 3GS. Better screen resolution on such a small screen is not good enough reason for me to upgrade. I'm not interested in video calls on wifi with other iphone 4 users (don’t know any).

I voted no. My 3Gs running iOS4 is enough for me for now.
If I was in the market for a new phone and didn't have an existing iPhone, I might consider it though.

8GB 3G to iPhone 4? Absoluflippin'lutely...........Sometimes its better to be the last on the release list, and we can see what the real story is.

This poll is meaningless if people who were never going to buy an iPhone4 vote, it's only relevant to those who were going to buy and then changed their mind (or not) after hearing about the issues.

I'll buy one, if there's any big hardware problems, I'll just return it within 30days or wait until there's a fix. I'll probably get a case anyway so no loss for me.

was 100% until I heard the problems, dropped back to 70% when I heard the problems, bricked ipod touch last week so back up to 95% getting one as most of the issues can be worked around and I was planning on getting a bumper anyway.. am going to hold out and get a white one though if its not too long a wait..
