If Anyone Cares, Quitting The FG Community.

As i said in IRC to some comedic fashion, I've decided to quit the fighting games community. No real reason why, but fighting games just pure bore me nowadays. No motivation to learn anything new, to up my game, it's gotten to the stage i'll pop into training mode on any game & play for 2 mins & turn on something else for a few hours. Also i want to spend more time hanging out with my friends, etc.

So i won't be going to SVB, Inferno, Casuals or anything else, i'll peep around the forum now and again to see whats going on. Anyways, just want to say thanks to everyone in the community for helping me & showing me stuff, for making me a better player. Was great fun travelling with everyone & even got a savage trip to France for it.

Anyways, later on lads, was fun! Probably see you around town or something.

So your not in the humor to play fighting games at the moment, not everyone always is at all times. I don't really get how that's 'quitting the scene'

Fair enough you don't feel like playing, so don't. Threads like this just make it more awkward for when you do feel like playing again, cause it'll happen.

So unless theres something else I've missed having not been on the forums or IRC for a two days... there was really no need for a thread such as this. Just play when you feel like playing and don't play when you don't... your not obliged to play... relax the cacks

i dont know you or any of these guys really, but can you not just take a break?????????? street fighter f**ks me off bigtime sometimes so i just take a break, i played battlefield bad company 2 (a billion times better than CODMW2) for a month online and was class then went back to sf4 and i loved it again,

But on topic. This is I believe the second time you've quit. The first was as I first started to get into street fighter. I've continuously threatened quitting for a long time but recently just decided **** it, I may be **** but I'll get better eventually. It won't stop the rage though.

You're quitting fighting games? Pffft, why not just go on hiatus like I am? I haven't had a serious game in months. I couldn't even get Balrog's basic LP-LP-LK-Headbutt out last time, and as a Balrog player, that combo should be more natural than breathing. I'm just not in the mood these days. I certainly didn't feel the need to broadcast the fact to the wider world. Come on, surely you realise that that's just a little bit precious? That's why you're getting all these less-than-sympathetic responses. Being brutally honest, the world doesn't revolve around you so it didn't really need the status update.
