Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm just curious is anywhere in Ireland dark at night on the Dark Sky Scale (a no1)

    Link to scale http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bortle_Dark-Sky_Scale

Here's a great picture on a true dark night in Death Valley you can see the milky way http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Deathvalleysky_nps_big.jpg

Where would you need to go in Ireland to experience a true night sky with no false light, would you need to go a couple of hundred miles out to sea?

(If this is the wrong forum please move it but I couldn't think of anywhere else)
