Right well heres a list I made of what I would think to be a fairly good list to shoot for in terms of a Mega Drive collection

Only PAL games are listed here and a few non PAL ones wold be essential, like Splatterhouse 3 and Golden Axe 3 etc

But I know I have some things that shouldnt be in here and some that arnt in here at all that need to be

I'm definitely a novice as far as MD collections go but one game that's supposed to be pretty good that I don't see above is Landstalker: The Treasures of King Nole. Sadly gathering dust on a shelf of mine.

Yes, it's complete. Got it off ebay since I never had a Megadrive first time around. These days I don't bother with anything unless its complete, I have this crazy fantasy that one day I'll have time to play all these games...

You're missing Shining Force 1 and 2. No mega drive collection should be complete without those two crackers.

Last Battle, Dracula, Pit Fighter and Rise of the Robots are awful. Don't bother.

I was joking about Toki, it's not bad.

Robocop vs. Terminator, I'm not a fan but seem to be in the minority as well.

Well considering I have all of them excpet pit fighter already :P

I didnt think Dracula was terrible, it gets a bashing and by no means is it perfect but its ot terrible, music in it is good

Some gorgeous 2D effects as well that were thought impossible on the megadrive. Retrogamer magazine revealed that travellers tales were behind it. Quite a talented bunch and an expert on getting the most out of the megadrive. Still It's not great.

I take that particular affliction to the extreme man. Before a purchase these days, I check to see what Im in for because sequels/spin offs are mandatory - dont ask me why, I wish it wasn't so

I think when we were younger (Well when I was younger anyway), there were lots of things to collect. From a set of toys in cereal boxes to stickers (Anyone remember the Super Street Fighter II sticker album?!) & pogs to comics and **** knows what else. Always trying to get completed collections of things.

I just never grew up.

Just one thing, Splatterhouse 3 was relased on PAL MD.

I bought shadow hearts and then found out it had an obscure and rare prequel called koudelka. Spent 4 months looking for it before spending 30 euros on it. I hated both games but liked Shadow Hearts two. Bought them any way despite having tried back upsand hating them

for some reason all i can think of is sports titles!! how about NBA Jam, Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe and the fifas?
i know i spent many a pound renting them in the local video shop "back in the day"!

We just don't agree... Thought Shadow Hearts one was amazing, one of my fave ps2 rpgs.
