Hi guys, I've been tipping away on a few boxsets with the missus over the past year - Entourage, US Office and most recently How I Met Your Mother.

We're more or less up to date on all of these, so at the moment we're wondering what to watch next. We're looking for an American comedy ideally - any recommendations based on the above 3?

We've been through Friends and Two & a Half Men before that too by the way.

Party Down is a really funny comedy. The second half of season one is particularly good.

Of course if you haven't seen Arrested Development then that would be my choice next. (Its not your typical American comedy but its amazing)

Basically everything listed before is great, but definitely go for Arrested Development.

Burn Notice is very good too but it's more of a comedy/drama/action.

They're sitting right next to me but the head is wrecked from the festivities last evening.

Thanks for all the suggestions - I forgot to mention that I've watched Modern Family too. Very similar humour to US Office - I think Phil is more or less a carbon copy of Andy Bernard (minus the a capella!).

It looks like we're gonna go with 30 Rock or Arrested Development next so. The only thing that's been holding me back from watching 30 Rock is that I don't find Tracy Morgan in the least bit funny. And that's only from watching trailers for Death At a Funeral and some upcoming one with Bruce Willis that looks brutal too.

I'm a big fan of Michael Cera so that's why I'm leaning towards Arrested Development too.

Either way, we'll probably end up watching both!

    Thanks again for suggestions.

I could never get into 30 Rock but I did only give it a few episodes. I must give it another go given all the positivity in this thread. For comedy I am currently watching Black Books for the first time and its a gem of a show.

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is another that should get a mention itt.
