    Hey guys,

May be looking to create a series of ebooks for sale on a site of mine. Anyone happen to have any recommendations for ebook creation software/applications? Or on ebook creation in general?

EDIT - hmm not sure if this belongs more in the web design forum....maybe mods could move it if it doesn't get much response.

By eBooks I'm just presuming you're looking at PDF books - there are probably loads more but the most obvious programmes would be Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 or maybe Nitro PDF.

Big differences in price for those two though. Get the trials and see which fits.

A cheap alternative would be google docs, you can download documents as PDF for free.

Thanks for replies thus far. Here is what I am looking to do:

    1) Set up a simple website to sell ebooks on a particular topic. There would be detail on what users would get from the ebook, etc, and then a link where users would be redirected to purchase the ebook.

Anyone got any experience of doing this? Looking at Clickbank - anyone ever use them?

So what I want to do is:

    1) Find out a good way of creating ebooks for sale on a site

    2) Find out a good way of selling them on my site

Spot on with that - forgot too there's PrimoPDF from the NitroPDF crowd which is free - if you already have Microsoft Word or even the free alternative OpenOffice then you'll be able to make your eBooks for free.

With regards to your second need - you'll need a website, huge options with that - probably best to start new thread in webdesign forum. No experience with clickbank.
