Ok, I can't confess to have seen this programme every week. I have seen it on 2 seperate occasions in the last few weeks however, and the same thing has happened twice. A couple of minutes before 7.30 it just cuts to ads right in the middle of a segment, no credits nothing. To make matters worse RTE's continuity announcer doesn't even mention it when it comes back to her for her introduction to the next programme.
It's as if they aren't even aware of it. What the hell is going on and did anyone else spot it?

    Response from RTE:

    Thank you for your e-mail,

Your comments about the break in transmission of Fresh From the Sea will be included in the RTÉ Audience Log which is circulated to senior programme management and submitted at RTÉ's Corporate Editorial.
Your complaint was also forwarded to RTÉ Scheduling, the following response was issued by Brid Cannon, Deputy Head of Schedule Planning.

Due to human error on the part of the Programme Acceptance Viewer the incorrect duration details were given on the Programme Cue Sheet for Fresh From the Sea and hence the transmission of the programme ended early. Apologies to all viewers affected by the drop out.

The episodes affected will be repeated at 1550 on Monday July 26th and Tuesday July 27th.

    Kind Regards
