between pdi and laylax in my view is more down to personal preference as both are top notch, the best advice is only stick to one brand and cross compatibility between the two brands is not the best

personally i like pdi more as the quality is always excellent and you can order direct from them at a x-fire reliably

the barrel is even more down to preference i find the twist barrels effective in springers but others would disagree

what are you planing on upgrading? i;ve found all the l96 i;ve come across rather good out of the box, the cost of upgrading them for the performance improvement you would get was not really there for me

The twist barrels really suit us here as we're under the recommended 350fps limit for them.
One chap on here had a twist barrel in his CA M24 and he said difference was fantastic...spicychagmis or something like that he was called :)
Planning on getting one for my M24 as well :)

I have a tanio koba twist in my l96 and found it made a big difference in consistency of shots, after a couple of hundred rounds of bedding in, well worth it imho. Anyone got a link as to where i can get a silencer and an adaptor for mine?

they only have the smaller ones though and I'm tired of waiting for them to order it in from redwolf for my M24

I need a 510mm one while I think the L96s are 500mm from what I see on the web.
