I am selling my old Fiesta as I have a company van now and won't need it, the tax is up at the end of this month, would it be a more attractive proposition if I taxed it for a year or should I leave it and let the next guy sort it out?

I'd leave it, you can always factor the tax into the sale price.

dont tax it until its sold, no point having it sitting there and being taxed and not using it

If its cheap then maybe tax it for 3 months. Personally if I was looking for a car one that is taxed would look a far more appealling prospect.

I'd leave it, and maybe offer to tax it for 6mths* to clinch the sale (makes the buyer feel he's getting a better deal).

*less if you can get away with it.
