Heading down to Tralee later this week & would appreciate some info about good scenic cycling routes which loop back into Tralee.

I came across this route online which looks pretty good. Any opinions on that route or suggestions of other routes worth cycling on a road bike?

    Cheers!

What kind of distances are you looking at?

You can go on further do the Connors Pass to Dingle back through Lispole Keel Castlemaine Tralee. Much harder cycle but awesome views

Tralee-Ardfert-Ballyheigue. Then take the cliff road around Kerryhead, into Ballyduff, to Ballybunion-Listowel and back into Tralee along the main road N69. About 60 miles, about 10 of it along by the shore. Plenty of scenery and plenty of Kerry to view.

    Spoilt for great routes.

Tralee - Camp: 17km then from there

    (1) Castlegregory Conor Pass Dingle (43km to Conor/51 to Dingle)
    (2) Annascaul and Inch (42 km)

For a bit further head to Slea Head from Dingle (adds 40km).

100km max. If it's a route with challenging climbs I'd reduce that distance a fair bit as I haven't done any decent climbing on a bike.

Thanks for the other suggestions lads I'll have a look at them later on tonight!
