Camera on the Ballymahon road in Athlone

Heading towards town, just after Fernhill turn off there is a camera attached to a lampost on the grass in front of Mayfield Grove. Is this a speed camera or the garda cameras or what?

Probably a traffic flow count, they use camera's a lot when counting cars, saves putting a person on the side of the road for the day with a clipboard!

EDIT: Just got confirmation that it is indeed a traffic count, I know the guy who put it up ;p
