I'm thinkin of starting my own little business for the coming months up to Xmas.

Basically I'm looking for picture frames sized 8 and half by 11 and 11x14 . It's a very difficult size to find in Ireland.

To make any profit in this business I'm looking to keep the price at around 3 euro per frame.

I'v tried so many places and they just dont do them sizes. can anyone pls advice where I could go to get these custom made?

I tried importing from america but the shipping prices are mad!

Any help is very grateful as I can't find anywhere

Those sizes are almost A4 to within a few millimeters, that is the nearest you are likely to get. Have you been asking for the frames in inches? Try looking for A4, it is not exactly the size you want, but as near as you are likely to get. 11x14 is similar to A3, but not as near as the A4.

You might get factory made frames of these sizes for €3 but I doubt you would get made to measure at anything near that unless you were ordering huge quantities.

I'll be looking to order around 70 frames at the start then ordering every 2nd week or so!

I'm trying to find a picture frame maker in Dublin but finding it very hard!

I could go as far as 5euro max per frame!

Would you be willing to give us an idea of why you need such specific sizes?

I got some picture frames in Kilkenny from someone who was making them, but its a long while ago and I can't remember his name. You might try this though http://www.visions.ie/

I got lovely clear wood A4 frames from a Euro saver store in the terryland relail park in galway. They were 2.50 each. I got 50 with a friend and painted them up my own way. They import them from china probably in a factory somewhere in the midlands. I tried contacting the factory but they are a huge whole sale place for pound shops and probably only deal with the distributors.
