It says on dublinbus.ie that Donnybrook church is a pickup point for the 46N. In all my time getting it, I don't think I've ever been on one that stops there to pick anyone up, probably as there was no one there. However, does it actually stop if there is someone there with there hand out?? don't want to be standing there like an idiot waving at the bus as it drives by!

Yes Alex DB Church is a pick-up point and there should be no doubt of gettin it with the usual caveat of "A clear signal, given in good time".

The only possible fly in the ointment I have ever encountered is if the Bus was full leaving Town or if the more tired and emotional of the Wezz clientele were to be observed behaving in a manner likely to cause upset or injury to themselves or others were the Bus to stop.

In 17 years this situation would only have occurred to me less than 4 times.

In these recessionary times you should encounter few problems.

However your question does underline the pressing need for a full 24hr service on this corridor.

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.

Thats grand. It'd be handy now and again, good to know it is a pickup point.
