    http://www.bastardamber.com/productions/graveyardalive.html

Watched this last night. Have to say I really liked it, the B&W grainy images really worked especially when highlighting who was in the early stages of turning. I also really like the horribly bad Dubbing (even thought the film was made in English) but thats not what I Want to talk about.

Has anyone else seen this Film??

It touches on a topic that I Raised here earlier, What if you could maintain a 'Normal' Life after becoming infected, all you would need is a steady supply of human flesh and everything is fine, hell better than fine as long as there are people to munch on/ Dissect, Mince, turn into Burgers then you and your chosen Cabal of Zombies are sorted.

The film really raised some interesting points, Anyone who is not averse to a bit of Homocide for Lunch could really do well, Also in the scenario envisioned in the Film should the situatuation get Tight it would be possible to infiltrate a survivors camp as a 'Passing' Human
    Then Eat them ALL :D:D:D;)

Not really Zombies can't process food so they don't need any food. They don't attack people because they're hungry.

Ah but ya see the premis of the Movie is such, Like I said its an interestin take on the Genre.

Patient Zero goes to Hospital, Dosent Feed and Begins to Decompose, PZ then Bites the Main Character, She Gets Rumbled by an Old Zombie hunter, Who for some unknown Reason explains to her what she needs to do to remain Immortal before failing horribly at killing her, When She finishes pickin the flesh from the ZombieHunterLunch we see a marked revival of her physical form, on the flipside when the Z's are without food for a day or two they lose Speech capacity then Basic motor Functions become involuntary and they resume decomposition.

Basicly It seems to present Zombieism as a kind Vampirism if that makes sense.

I'll be looking out for it for sure and I don't mean to judge before I watch I suppose being in the realms of fantasy anything goes it's just I get a bit bored with anything goes, because it can just get ridiculous. Rules make things much more interesting.

it did seem to make a lot of sense tho in the context of the rules of the film.

The virus takes over the host and controls it, the Virus is flesh eating so naturally wants to consume the flesh of the Host, this is seen in PZ, however the Nurse is informed of her situation and realises that all she needs to do is provide the virus with enough human tissue each day to stop it consuming hers.

some of the 'rules' get tweaked a bit, but overall its a fairly true to them, with the exception of the Sentience thing, which makes sense in the context of the film, and is the thing I'm most interested in as a discussion topic.

Seriously like if what the film portrrayed was an option then I'm all in favour of becoming a Zombie.

    No Pain
    Imortality
    Heightened Sexual Prowess
    Limitless Stamina
A Legitimate Reason to Kill people you dislike

I would have watched it last night only the sound was out on bought divx files I found so I decided to wait until it was finished and I could fix the sound. Liked the style of what I'd seen of the film though.

I was going to make a thread along these lines after a book I read.Just from reading the description, this is what
    I am Legend
should have been when it was translated from a book to a film.

it's only almost exactly the same logic except one was blood instead of flesh.
