    Hi
I am going to a wedding this weekend and I am staying in the Mespil hotel I need to get my hair washed and styled ( short hair ) somewhere close by also I wanted to get my make up applied. If I went to a make up counter in a shop like brown thomas or debenhams would I need an appointment on Sat how does it would do they charge or do you just need to buy something off of them to get make up done. So if anyone can recommend a hairdresser or some place to get make up done at a reasonable cost that would be great

LA Makeup Academy does makeup, you'll need an appointment however. Its on chatham street, just off grafton street.
If you book in with a counter in BT's or Debenhams, yes you will need an appointment.
MAC charge 60 euro, but they give it back off products you'll buy.
If you get it done in MAC, i recommend requesting Aisling or Debbie.

Dior, charge 40 euro if you dont buy anything and its free if you buy a product.

Im not so sure about hair in that vicinity.

Try looking into Zeba. There's a little make up parlour downstairs in The Beauty Suite where you can pop down straight after getting your hair done.
