Topping up Paypal A/C from bank A/C **UPDATE**

Just in case anyone is interested, my topup payment that went awol on May 26th finally turned up in my account on July 6th!

But not without contacting Paypal and providing all the same information about 3 times, but i did it all through email so it wasnt a huge problem.

I still dont know why it went missing, as i had provided all the details requested at the time of making the transfer.
Anyway, the funds are in my account now, but its a good thing i didnt win the item i was bidding for on Ebay in May, or they'd be waiting a long time for payment! :eek:

Get onto Paypal and they should be able to find it for you.

Id love to know why the payments arent going through automatically like they are supposed to. I didnt really supply any different information than what the transfer form required, so i dont see how it could have gone missing in the first place.

It was less than an euro i just tried it to see if it worked: it didnt!

I was thinking about transferring some money (~200 Euro) to pay for an item because I'm so sick of 3V cards, but this is putting me off. What happens if the money doesn't come through? Do they simply flog you off with computer-generated emails or does someone actually do something?

You could try it first with 5 or 10 euro. I would be careful of putting a large amount in. But if it worked out it would be a lot handier than 3v

I've used this method with BOI 365Online many times now, and all though it does take 4-5 days to come through, it's never gone missing. Try with a small amount at first, and if you're not in any hurry, maybe transfer the €200 in a couple of smaller amounts, just to be safe.

Thats cul. Ive jst set up BOI online myself there . got the beneficiary activated and all that who ha. Sent €2 first just to be safe last thurs. should show up soon so i guess?

there is zero chance of it going missing as long as u dont mess up the account numbers ,its a simple bank transfer and it works both ways
