    Apologies if this had been asked before.
    Does anyone know how far registry of deeds data goes back in Ireland ?
    I imagine it varies by county but I guess they are now all in the land registry central offices.

    Were these records part of those which were lost in the War of Independence ?

    There may be documents which now fall under the auspices of the RoD which were stored in the Four Courts when the fire happened, but in general, the RoD did not have any destruction.
