Im looking for a real sturdy, and powerfull laptop thats not too bulky.
Ive heard great things about the latitude E6410, and used the previous 6400 model and found it pretty good.

Im looking at the following configuration:

    15 - 520m 2.4ghz
    4gb RAM
    14.1 1440X900 wxga screen
    320gb 7200rpm Hard drive
    8x Dvd burner
    backlit keyboard
    intel 6300 wireless card
    bluetooth
    fingerprint reader
512mb Nvidia NVS 3100M Graphics card
    Advanced port replicator
    Dell Ultrasharp 24" LED monitor
    9 cell battery
    3 year accidental damage warranty

Its comming out at 2713 euros inc vat which i think is not too bad.
It will be used for a bit of development, education, photoshop, office tasks and web surfing.

I would like your opinion if you think its a good deal or if there are better to be had, or if you think its an awful laptop?

firstly, they are a great laptop.. however, im not sure it will do anything for you that an inspiron wont do? then again the inspiron may not be much cheaper
