currently training for my first half marathon which will be the adidas half on the 18th September however im also registered for Gael force on august 21st , have done nothing on the bike so was thinkin of replacing one easy 50min run in the week with a cycle , would there be much loss to half marathon training ? , currently training 6 days , i know the best way to improve running is with running but would one cross training session replacing a easy run really matter ? . intend on fitting another bike session in as well but with all the running and stretching and general every day life commitments trying to fit 2 extra bike sessions in would be a real struggle

wouldnt make a difference and if anything it would help.
Depends on how many miles you were thinking but the day after a hard session would be ideal. In the 6 days how many miles do you do ?

Easily do that over 5 days with a 6 miler on a morning that you could do that cycle later in the day. That way you get your day off every week.
