well now if you gave us a little bit more information we'd be able to help better, eg: Location - no point in us pointing you to a shop in dublin when you are in cork is there????
Go to your local golf club and check out what they have.

If you can go to Mcguirks and have a look around, I'd recommend a set of RAM if you are only beginner. Also have a chat with the staff and tell them you are a beginner, they will look after you and will also be able to recommend a set of clubs.

Tell us where you live mate and we can go from there.

Also are you looking to buy new or 2nd hand.

You could buy a beginner set like Ram etc that come with everything to get you started (putter to driver and everything in between) which is what I done but you could also buy better brand irons like Mizuno mx100 2nd hand and all the other bits as you need them.

Buying a beginner set is handy but I found that I only use the irons from my beginner set as I got a new Ping driver, cobra 5w and titlest rescue as I didnt like the ones that came with the set so something to think about!
