This is a weird one. I'm 29 but had my first serious relationship when i was 23, he was 21 and we were crazy about each other - it lasted 3 years - the last year was fragile. I wanted to settle down and he, only barely hitting his mid twenties wanted to be out single with the lads - we split and for a long time were still quite emotionally dependent on each other. I was absolutley the injured party and it took a while but I eventually got over it and we've both stayed in touch but also gone out with other people.

We are both single at the moment (me only about a month) and we've been chatting daily on facebook and sometimes on the phone. It took me a long time to get over this chap and to make him see and believe i was really over him so i am not about to suggest that we give things another go.

I am just wondering, if your ex can forget you ever went out and stop feeling that spark you once had? I still feel it and at times i think he does too but i am too scared/proud to ever admit it. I also think the way things ended with us it would HAVE to be him who made a move?
