Think 14.5k is a bit optomistic tbh, you can get this year with full Audi a4 kit in a tdi with all the bells and whistles for 9-10k (complete with full s/h) tax and test

True, doesn't stop people advertising them for big money though.

Well as the old saying goes " a car is only worth what someone will give you for it" within reason of course. Unless your selling your car for the right money then be prepared to hold onto it for a while!!

A lad I know bought a 2005 petrol 1.6 one off his uncle for €15,000 last year (March 09 direction) and thought he was getting a great deal, his uncle must be fond of him

lol and a 1.6 at that !! Always fancied a tdi a4 myself, a lot of flash for reasonably small bucks. I see a lot of 19-25 year olds driving them down here in Waterford at the moment. Reckon there gonna be the next big 2nd hand seller to the younger market very very soon!!

By the way Ban ki moon thats defo the nicest colour in the a4 imo, dont think you'll have much hassle selling her

As a devils advocate for a potential buyer who knows about the car.

    Any recalls done?
Why was the belt done at 80k instead of 60k?
Evidence of correct spec oil used in previous services in the form of invoices etc?
What version of maps are on the OEM satnav? how much are update disks etc etc.

For 14.5k you could possibly get a very nice speced out A6,
