Glengarriff ,Kenmare ect.. (East Cork Region)

Hi ive been looking to go somewhere in west cork or kerry for two nights, or two seperate nights in diff locations and was looking for some advice.

Ive been to Glengarriff years ago as a child stayed in the Eccles and was looking for tips for good hotels. It doesnt have to be specifically the two towns mentioned. I just had them in mind.

Im not lookin for tralee ,killarney or dingle though

You didn't say when you wanted to go or if you had a family but I'll take a punt at it anyway.
Glengarrif park hotel looks nice they do a good carvery on sundays.The village is busy with weekenders each weekend and in the fine weather it reminds me of the south of France.

If you have a family The Kenmare Bay hotel is also a good choice because they have a pool etc which is always handy if you have kids and chances are the weather will be poor.Lovely resturants in Kenmare itself .It will be packed this weekend though with the munster fleadh on.

Yeah the Kenmare Bay is good. Stayed there last summer, good amount of families with kids.
