Just wondering if you lads knew the best place on the web to put a good Vietnam loadout together. I'm not to into trying to buy individual M56 pieces from ebay, I'd rather find a place to buy a complete loadout if possible.

    thanks in advance

as Scody94 said sof is a good bet if you want to just get the lot off the peg its not the cheapest place around but its reliable and you can get everything in the same spot

If you are patient, you can find full sets of original issue M56 webbing in good order on ebay. You will however, need to be patient and accept that you may need to pay up something other than the cost of a battery for it (ie. bargain basement cheap it will not be). You can still find full sets that would cost you less than buying a repro from SOF. I think I paid about €90 for mine.

Bear in mind, you also have 67 pattern pouches as well (crocodile clip). You can mix and match 56 and 67 patt without breaking period accuracy.

The most important part that you need for a rig is the H harness - make sure you have the correct size. I run a large (6ft 3), which can be tricky to locate on ebay at times. Add a webbing belt (there are two distinct sorts - horizontal or vertical stitched - both are period accurate), and a butt-pack and everything else hangs off that set-up.

edit: the only thing I'll mention about SOF kit ... get a bunch of real alice clips from ebay (they'll cost you pittance). They're much stronger and better for load-bearing.
