decent ssd netbook for college ?

    can anybody recommend me anything,
    i dont mind spending a few bucks if its good
    so power and speed ideal, but small also, and preferably ssd

    i dont want apple either, i like to run ubuntu

    Nope ! I don't mind paying for quality, I know good fast ssd's can be pricey

    Buy a well regarded netbook which allows change of hdd, swap out hdd for ssd!

    I have to agree, a lot of netbooks that come with ssd's, would be very low quality ssds. If you want performance i'd buy the SSD seperately. I'm not too sure what the prices are like these days. Keep us updated with how you get on.
