Anyone else worried about finding accommodation as a student?

I have been on daft and there isn't alot of places available yet as house shares. Is it still a bit early? Im guessing there will be places available closer to the time i want to move in? Want to move in at the end of august, so should i be looking for a place during the first two/three weeks of august?

I don't want to end up with a bunch of 18 year olds, so what other options have i got?

What college are you attending - letting people know the general area will allow them to offer you more specific help. Have you tried the student accomm the college offers if any ? most do these days and some allow you to choose who you live with.

Contact the Mature Student office of your college. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

    Best of luck!
