Hi everyone, I've been doing a bit of research into naturally waterproof materials and I keep seeing 'Mole skin' as an answer. The trousers themselves seem to retail from anywhere between €30 - 60. Does anybody here own a pair and if so what are they like?

I've not seen these for ages .. I used to have a pair of moleskin walking breeches back in the 70's. I wouldn't say they were exactly watreproof, but they were a damn sight better than any of the alternatives at the time, either natural or synthetic. The material was quite heavy and stiff it must be said, and as a result the seams in the crotch area were quite bulky and itchy which wasn't good :D It goes without saying, of course, that no moles were harmed in the making of them!!
