Hi everyone, I've been doing a bit of research into naturally waterproof materials and I keep seeing 'Mole skin' as an answer. The trousers themselves seem to retail from anywhere between €30 - 60. Does anybody here own a pair and if so what are they like?

I've not seen these for ages .. I used to have a pair of moleskin walking breeches back in the 70's. I wouldn't say they were exactly watreproof, but they were a damn sight better than any of the alternatives at the time, either natural or synthetic. The material was quite heavy and stiff it must be said, and as a result the seams in the crotch area were quite bulky and itchy which wasn't good It goes without saying, of course, that no moles were harmed in the making of them!!
