    Hi,

Just wondering people's opinions on this dress? Is it suitable for day wear?

    Vintage floral bandeau dress

I have some family coming to stay and I haven't seen them for a long time and I was thinking of getting this dress to wear during the day.

I normally wear jeans, t-shirt/tops and hoodies. I have no 'dressy' clothes and don't want to go ott, I'd also like something that I could wear again.

    Thanks for your opinions.

I think this dress is lovely. If you and your family went out for lunch/dinner and drinks it would look lovely.

Plus you can go really OTT if you went out in it! A nice statement accessory would look lovely and a little pair of heels! :)

Its really pretty. Just throw a cardigan over it and maybe some leggings and you're sorted for day and some heels/sparkly things for night and you can wear it then too

fab for day or night! i'd wear pretty flats or even white trainers a la lily allen for casual daytime with denim jacket or nice cardi. dress it up with nice dressy heels and a wrap if you want to be posh!

    Thanks everyone.

What accessories/cardigans would go with it?

I have a pair of Gold flats and a pair of Silver flats, I also have a pair of White flats with bronze/brown studs on them? And what colour nail-polish?

Can anyone help with my questions/queries in the above post please?

    Thanks!

    I'd go with gold flats.

You could go with any of the colours in the dress with the cardigan. Maybe cream or a pale green or turquoise?

And for nail polish keep it simple.

They all link back to the main DP page. I'd go with gold bangles. Pick some up in Penneys on the cheap!

You could fling a belt around the band bit too if you wanted too.

Thank you Larianne. I have a cream/white bolero or a long cream cardigan, no Green or Turquoise though.

I have a natural coloured nail varnish, it has a slight gold shimmer off it, would this be ok?

Hmm really? They links all link to the bangles I posted. :-/

I'll take screen-caps tomorrow and post them. Unfortunately my local Penney's are out of Gold bangle atm, they seem to have only Pinks and Purples. :(

    Hey,

I'd prob go for the gold sandals from Penneys and team it with gold bangles and a white cardy or one to match the reddish colour in the floral print. Maybe even a gold waist belt. You'd be able to pick something up in Penneys no doubt if your on a budget!
