If they were for right handed shooters, I would definitely pick up a few...

The reason they're so cheap is because they're the worst crap you could put under a remy 700.

Cheap-ass injection molded plastic. They flex so much Remington gave up trying to float the barrel and added an extra nub of plastic at the fore-end to support the barrel. Using a bipod, a sling or just holding it in a different position from shot-to-shot causes different flex pressures each time you shoot it.
Flexible stock = piss poor performance.
By far the worst stock Remington every inflicted on the 700.

The stock is poor, however it can be dickied up I feel. I'm currently working on a VTR stock.

For a tenner how can ya go wrong ;)

I have a sps and a howa short action (RH) injection moulded stock flutin around if someone wants one. They are a waste of time.
If one is really desperate one can improve the stock with a bit of work.
Best way is to forget about stiffenening but rather open the barrel channel so much that the flexy stock can't touch even when pushing down on a bipod.
Then one should pillar bed, The alu tubes cut off will do and the plastic need roughing up well for epoxy to hold somewhat.
Especially in this stock pillars are important because the action screws can get loose after a while when the plastic relaxes.

I'd say at $10 it's over priced by a fiver,
I have one sitting in a corner at home, of someone wants it I'll gladly take a fiver for it :-)
