Hey guys, I've been offered a teaching post in China and to start my application for a work visa I need a medical certificate to prove my good health. Where does one go in Ireland to start the process for achieving this certificate?

Hmmm, we don't have a medical board for a variety of reasons, most of them legal. I reckon Health Sciences is probably the best place to put this, with Travel & Holidays a second option. Moving to the Health Sciences board - if the mods there reckon it's better placed in Travel, feel free to move.

Your usual GP would be the most obvious first choice.
The form is here under "health form"

From what I can see it can be filled in by any GP who has access to your past medical records.
