For those that are following the antics of Mel Gibson, his latest rant has leaked onto the net.
I won't repeat the words that he has used to his then other half but they are extreme.

This cannot be stressed enough.

I think this guy has some very, very deep routed mental problems that need to be addressed.
He clearly yet again is exposing his extreme racist tendencies that he previously tried to do a PR wash-over job on for public consumption.

Washington, July 10 (ANI): Mel Gibson apparently threatened to bury Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of his love child, in the rose garden of his multi-million dollar mansion.

"Mel made a series of serious and violent threats against Oksana," RadarOnline.com quoted a source as saying.
"When things in their relationship started going badly and he made the first threats against her, Oksana decided she needed to protect herself.
"She made the recordings and on one of them, Mel is heard telling Oksana, 'I will bury you in the rose garden,' which she believed to be a clear reference to killing her," the source added.
The rose garden threat is on the 30 minutes of tape submitted to a Los Angeles judge in their custody battle, the source said.

He sure is a hypocrite, old Mel. I remember some article that was written about him, long before he split up with his wife, that he he was a devout Catholic and devoted family man. There was some guff about him having built his own church on his land. I imagined that he was going to be canonised, possibly as the Patron Saint of Post-apocalyptic futures.

It seems that it was a load of bullsh1t, and that in reality he's a poisonous diva.

Listened to it earlier and it's nowhere near as bad as the media are making it out to be. He was angry and when were angry we all say stupid things we later regret. The only difference being were it me or you no one would be recording it and selling the tape on to a tabloid.

Mel obviously has anger issues and has made a few racist remarks but that doesn't necessarily mean he's a racist, he's repeatedly worked with and hired actors/crew of all race and nationality, plus I doubt a racist would count Danny Glover amongst his close friends.

You have a point but humans are remarkable things. They can be very friendly to one's face but behind a back, off camera, or outside a PR created image, can slip-up and show once in a while their true mask.

They can also manage to contain their own opinions on matters for the sake of gain, be it monetary, public affection and/or a lot more besides.

Either way, be he an actual racist (racist don't have to be just against blacks by the way - remember his vocal hatred of jews too? Remember the line that had to be withdrawn from one of his latest films?) - he clearly has an undercurrent of self-righteousness, an undercurrent of hate for females, disgusting arrogance towards his fellow man/woman and is equally disgusting in the way this so called "religious" man treats them.

He is simply a disgrace.

...By the way, there is 30 minutes of recorded hatred in the hands of the judge. Going on the fact that what we have heard was in fact reported ages ago and as this just released recording turns out backs up what was stated on record along with the rest - I'm tended to believe the rest that is out there, that some of which has also been readable in the media - which is more hatred and more racism to boot.

Be it because of anger or drink, either one clearly caused his public mask to slip and another maybe truer side to him has seen the light ...and it ain't a holy one!

He may be er "feeling unwell" and "out of sorts". Who know? Questions should also be asked why he was taped saying those things. All in all, not good.

We have no context for the tape so for everyone to self righteously condemn Mel is a bit unfair. There's two sides to every story and so far we've only heard one. It's tabloids such as the Daily Fail and TMZ which are milking this and turning it into front page news.

Well allegedly punching her twice while she held a baby and then telling her (recorded too) that "she deserved it" is quite frankly absolutely - unquestionably - disgusting and disturbing.

Its this assault that made has him facing assault (domestic violence) charges now by the way and the judge/court has the tape recordings.

It's tabloids such as the Daily Fail and TMZ which are milking this and turning it into front page news.

I disagree - its his own stupid actions and words that are making this stuff front page.

I should clarify that I am not saying it's not his fault but the tabloids coverage is ensuring that we will never get the true story.

I'm not defending Gibson, nor making excuses for him. If he really did hit here, especially while carrying his child then he deserves everything coming his way. But at the same time, there are many publications reporting that the fight was verbal and not psychical and that Gibson has released the tapes to investigators.

At the end of the day if Gibson continues to make such interesting and daring films, I will still pay to see them. I won't have as much respect as I did for him a few years ago but if the general public can forgive actors and directors for sexually abusing children then surely Gibson deserves another chance.

The Guy in the end is a Great Actor and I love his movies that's his private life and leave him too it we all love him as a actor and we always will.

Well besides the tabloids, for example the New York Times and the Washington Post alone (besides others) has already stated clearly over the last few days that is her that handed in the recordings as evidence of his recorded vocal and physical abuse - as well as the many threats.

Pot kettle. It's a custody case and it was only after the tape surfaced th police opened up a domestic abuse case.

I would have thought readers would have kopped that and I didn't have to re-state it too.
One clearly didn't and thus the correction to them for their inadequate assessments.
As you too rightly pointed out also, its a domestic case too now.

I know it's basically a private issue but the things Mel says on that tape are so vile, they actually make me look at him completely differently. I always thought he was a fairly sound guy with a good sense of humour. So when he had made those anti-Semitic remarks to that traffic cop back in 2006, I was a little thrown but persuaded myself he was having a bad day :rolleyes:
But what kind of a man would make the most recent remarks to the mother of his child? Calling her a "bitch in heat", and that she deserves to be raped?
Sometimes celebrities are caught in an off-guard moment, and they'll say things which are ill-judged but which we've all said ourselves behind closed doors... but "if you get raped by a pack of n______s, it will be your fault" WTF?
Anyways... how did he manage to pull the wool over people's eyes for so long? Any boardsies out there ever meet him when he visited Ireland? Is he an asshat in real life? Is this latest episode down to drink?

Mel Gibson lost it some time ago. There is proof of racism, cheating, verbal and physical abuse. The man is basically an angry alcoholic. It annoys me that a lot of people (mostly Mel fans in the US) feel the need to defend him by ripping her apart & accusing her of eveything under the sun. The proof is there. And of course his ex wife, whom he supports financially is going to defend him. Does she really want to be on the wrong side of him?!

It doesn't matter whether Oksana is a goldigger a blackmailer, a user...she put up with his **** so let her sell her story,make a few quid.

Mel Gibson has reportedly entered talks with producer Joel Silver about starring in Lethal Weapon 5.

According to Australian website What's Playing, Gibson is considering using the action franchise to help rehabilitate his career following the leaked audio recordings of him arguing with ex-girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

An insider said: “They’re talking again. Mel probably needs Joel, not to mention Lethal Weapon now more than ever, so I wouldn’t at all be surprised if it comes off this time.

"And it could be a good move, that’s a mighty big brand name - it probably would help Gibson, professionally-speaking.”

A fifth Lethal Weapon movie was recently touted in 2008, with original screenwriter Shane Black penning a story that would reunite cops Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh. However, Gibson turned down the chance to return and the project collapsed.

I don't see Lethal Weapon 5 happening. Gibson doesn't need the money, it's unlikely to repair his public image. It's redundant without Glover, and if Glover does sign up, he'll be condemned.
