I just spotted the following on the Aontas (Facebook) site - really helpful resource.

    http://www.aontas.com/information/faqs/upskillingretra.html

    They cover the following:
"What are my training and upskilling options if I become unemployed?
1.What happens if I become unemployed and sign on the Live Register?
2.What are my training and upskilling options if I become unemployed?
3.What are my options if I want to pursue a third level qualification? What financial support is available to me?
    4.Will Budget 2010 affect my training/upskilling options?
5.I want to upskill, what should I upskill for?
6.If my working hours have been reduced, are there training options that I can pursue?
7.What are the most important factors I should consider when deciding on a course?
8.Who can give me further information about my options?
    9.Useful websites/ resources" (Aontas)
