have a look in camping shops, somewhere like millets or the great outdoors if you're in dublin.

Camping or sports shops would be a good place to start. I bought my waterproofs in an equestrian store a few years ago and they've lasted for ages. It's a good idea to buy the best you can afford as sometimes the cheaper ones aren't so good. Though that said, the waterproof trousers I had before my current were bought for E5 and lasted for years!

Get yourself a good pvc raincoat and maybe a pair of Berghaus rainpants.
Wellies are also handy if not fashionable they are very practical.

Lots of woolies and mac in a sac from pennys....if it gets you though a bad festival weekend it would get you through anything!

If this is a permanent job I would definitely go with an upmarket rain stopper! And wellies are all the rage at the moment!

You could try Rudolphs. Be careful though, he has a drink problem, hence his ruddy complection. You can look him up in the phone book under Rudolph The Red Nosed Rain Gear.

You should ask your co-workers what they wear when you start as they'll be bound to have worked it out.
