I know.. themes are tricky!! Especially as everyone is working with different media! So hope it is ok, it can be interpreted anyway

This is a great idea, like the one in the photography forms. Starting college in a Sept having done very little all summer this should get me back into the swing of things !

Tried my idea yesterday but the wood isn't suitable at all, just fragmented >.< Will have to try find some reasonable bits during the week. How is everyone else getting on with it?

I'm very excited to see what everyone else comes up with as there is a fair mix of artists and crafts people here

Will fair play you did a great job! Can we get a closer up picture?! It's hard ish to make out the shaps at the bottom, have you kind of bevelled it? Love the description too!

I was away for the weekend so I haven't done anything in ages but will get into action tonight. Looking forward to it!!

Yeah will pop a close up pic, it's just sort of squared off at the bottom so it can stand on it's own. I'm lookin forward to everyone else's entries Ideally I'd have liked to do the flower but just didn't work out

I put up an entry last night! After twiddling with wire and creating a mess, I decided to take a break and do a painting. So now I have a present for my Dad Go challenge!! I will continue twiddling with wire and if anything comes of it will post it up!

I like the sound of the flower idea too Will - I apologise again for the theme!! I like the shape of the base though, something interesting about it, how it goes from smooth circle to square. Very nice!

Yeah it sort of transitions, it's nothing special trust me May try bang out a flower before the end of the week but dunno

No worries Treasure Bin - I think it is because you don't have enough posts yet as you are new to the Forum! Something we hadn't really thought about.. you can just post your vote as a post if you like in the thread!

Oh yikes I've been way too busy to do anything for this challenge!! As there are no entries yet, if there are none by 6pm tomorrow (deadline) I'm going to extend the deadline by a week - so that hopefully there will be a couple of entries and we can go again. Or.. if anyone would rather start a new challenge with a new theme, do so tomorrow! Copy and paste the start of the challenge thread and change the theme and dates - 2 weeks for the deadline!
