FM reception on a kitchen system

    Anyone any simple ideas how to improve fm reception on a simple kitchen radio , have tried all the obvious solutions , How about a simple external aerial ?? Any ideas ??

    Not meaning to be smart - try extending the telescopic aerial to full height but vertically as distinct from horizontally.

    I had a similar problem so I moved the radio to a different position in the kitchen close to two vertical copper water pipes and near the window. That did the trick.

    If you need to keep the radio where it is for convenience try adding an additional length of wire to the aerial fitting and running it under a cupboard or whatever you have.
