    Hi,

I received a mail from a triathlete in the U.S. who wishes to enter our race during his holiday to Ireland this summer and he has asked about bike hire for the race.

I haven't found anything from Googling. Does anyone know of any place offering such a service?

    Thanks

can your sponsor "Hollingsworth" not help them out?

by the way it's a lovely event, really enjoyed it last year.

Isn't it amazing how an obvious solution can be overlooked? DOH!
I don't believe they're in the business of bike-hire but they're very nice people and it's worth asking. Thanks.

Thanks for the nice words. Glad you enjoyed yourself. Hope we see you again this year.

I know not much help geographically in your case, but I was in the Edge Sports shop in Cork recently and they said they would probably be starting a race bike hire gig before the end of the summer.

Thanks Gringo. It does indicate that there may be a demand for this kind of service.

I'd ask wheelworx... they are always on the lookout for new markets/openings (they've run bike maintenance classes etc in the past) might be worth a phone call?

Thanks everyone. I think I'm sorted now.

Frankly, given the large numbers of people trying out triathlon each year, I'm surprised that there isn't already a service like this on offer.
