John & Edward Meet & Greet - Need Advice

I am meeting John & Edward at a Meet & Greet event for fans at Tesco's in Maynooth the following Saturday (17 July).
Does anyone here (if you have been to such an event) have an estimated guess maybe at what the crowds might be like?
I am just getting an autograph for a friend who won't be able to make it, but I'm concerned and need to make a plan.

These type of events are usually mayhem!

Haven't been to a Jedward one but have done many others. Expect it to be very crowded and very loud (from screaming fans - not music!).

There is often a short performance followed by a signing. Depending on the layout, the queue for the signing might not start until after the performance so being there from 3am might not work for you! It will most likely be a time limit on the signing (30 mins maybe) so the chances are that not everyone will get an autograph.

Hard one to call really - maybe get there early and talk to the shop manager and find out where they will set up the signing area so you can be first up as it's usually a race from wherever the stage is to the signing table for the fans! Have your picture/CD and a marker at the ready!!

Expect a lot of screaming people (I would guess teenagers mostly, based on some of the other events shown on news reports) who really have no idea what is happening, and people that just will not listen to you if you tell them they're too close etc.

If you need to make a plan, bring something to eat and drink that's easy to carry (you could be in line for a while). Have your item ready to be signed, and keep any cameras etc safe.

Above all, keep yourself safe and have fun!.
