lol......like anyone who's in the market for an executive saloon is going to be interested in this car. Some seriously delusional people out there.

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

this is why i dont even look at done deal,

if i go looking for a transit (for example) this car will show up somehwere in the search results because he has transit listed at the bottom of the ad,

it is pointless and makes done deal a fecking mess to browse on:mad:

He just put all the brands in there to make sure his add pops up, no matter what people are looking for.
Only thing you can blame the seller for is that he knows a little bit how search engines work.

I've email DD about this problem, asking them if they can put an option to search titles only.
They replied saying that they would look into it.

If loads of us email them, then maybe they will do it.

DoneDeal is painful to search thru for that reason. Until they implement a proper search engine whereby the make and model of the car are actual fields which can be searched (like Carzone) its going to be a joke of a website.

I think they're having the laugh with the consistent amount of money they're currently rolling around in!

The site has loads of potential to the private market, I hope they don't **** up the private side of it like carzone did!

The old Carzone search engine can be used here for those who don't know:

I'm more talking about the money side of it. 6% of carzone's current adds are private, that was ALOT more a few years back. It's swamped with dealers now, and the more recognized donedeal becomes, the more that percentage will drop.

Done Deal actually works quite well if you advertise correctly tho. Advertised a car for sale recently, got a call within an hour and caller subsequently bought said car.

Lucky I know but it can work

    Got a great price too!!!:D
