    Another bites the dust.

    I applied for ups pickup from the apple site - already had my address details and says one week plus 2 days each way for delivery.

    So it should be back in two weeks - providing they get here on monday.

    Has anyone done this - what was it like? free, fast etc?

    What is the best and quickest and cheapest way to get my ipod replaced in Dublin?

    It is still under warranty and was definitely faulty so there will be no problem getting Apple to replace it.

    Thanks in advance.

    (An error came up that I could no longer write to the drive and to back up and wipe the drive I did that but that failed and now its stuck in the apple boot and wont show up anywhere on my macbook)

    I had an old iPod replaced via Apple's pick-up. It's a few years back now, but it was pretty fast as I recall.

    Is it a Classic?

    Sound - so I should get it back within tomorrow two weeks.

    Late 2009 - 160gb classic.

    The drop down menus were useless - the problem that i entered in was that it didn't turn on as that was the closest to fit the actual problem I had - but I entered in the actual problem in the extra info bit so it should be grand.
