anyone hear of offers from NUI Matnooth

    hey all,

    just wondering if any mature students got an offer or heard of others getting an offer from NUIM, me and a few friend(maturies) are all expecting an offer and nothing came yesterday.probably going to be august 5th now, but just wondering if they gave any offers at all...?

    Yep got my letter today, but had accepted it online Wednesday. Good idea to check the CAO website before getting panicked.

    Yeah it is, did you have to attend an interview or get any inclination that you had a place?

    yes , i was told in the interview he looked forward to teaching me in the net semester and received a letter saying i was successful in interview, was abit gutted yesterday with no offer but a few friends are in the same boat and there doing science, arts and history so theres a few of us..infact your the only 1 on here im aware of got it from maynooth..

    Thats exactly the same as I went through. Probably best to give the department a ring to put your mind at ease cos even though you are told you have the place the waiting is horrible.

    I was offered a place in Maynooth on Wednesday. I should mention it was a deferred place from last year. I too accepted on the cao website. I'd give them a buzz and see what's happening. Mature students are usually in the 7th July batch. Best of luck with it.
