    is the camping gaz butane or propane ?

    The small light ones such as the "tins" that are pierced and can't be unscrewed until empty, use a mix of propane and butane. I suppose their main target is tenters and hikers who are more likely to experience cold conditions that would require some propane in there to get things going - the flame is close enough to the container to warm it up and get the butane rolling too.

    Mind you the price is gone so crazy I don't know why anyone would use CampingGaz anymore.
