    Hi all will a lapotp bought in america work over here?

    all i know is the power supply is an 150W AC adapter?

    It will, it power adapter will work with 220v and 110v.

    have a look on the transformer an see if it accepts 110-230V, if it does its grand, if it only accepts 110v you have to get a european equivalent (of the transformer)

    Most laptop power supplies will work on 100-220V, but you should check the label. You can either change the mains plug or get an adapter

    Thanks lads, went onto the manufactures website and got the info i needed below. Thanks again.

    Output: 16 V DC, 4.7 A, 150W
    Input: 100-240 V AC, 50/60 Hz universal (Intel® i7-720QM / i7-820QM platform)
    Output: 19 V DC, 4.74 A, 120W
    Input: 100~240 V AC, 50/60 Hz universal (Intel® Core™i7-620M/ i5 / i3 platform)
