    Hey all,

I was just wondering if any of ye have used the Normende/Canady range for kitchen appliances before?? I have prices for the two sets of appliances with the Candy to be working out abit dearer. The people who are supplying the kitchen recommend Normende as they supply it but when I went to price around I haven't seen it stocked in any other shop...I not sure about Candy either as I don't see too many houses with that brand in their homes...thoughts people!

kitchen fitter is pushing the nordemende because they get a margin on the sale ,supplied by kal . most kitchen companys supply kal appliances

candy not a great brand you could get better stuff for the same money

I use to work for KAL and was involved in the spec and launch of Nordmende.
They are a fairly solid appliance.Ovens are great.the 1400 spin washing machine is godd, stay away from 1000 and 1200 spin. The integrated washing machines are very poor. The dishwashers are good quality also.
3 year parts and labour warranty is a big plus

The last time I heard of Candy and saw their name,it was on a Liverpool shirt and Ian Rush was playing for them.

Go Nordmende,we do a lot of the stuff. The guarantee is a big plus too as mentioned above.
