I was collecting the olds from the train station a few weeks back, the first time I used the station in quite some time, and being late decided to rush to the Pre pay parking machine. As I fumbled for my wallet an old lady came behind me and said
“Do you mind if I could go ahead, as I’m in a terrible hurry”
    I replied “Fire ahead”
Then she stood there and rooting in her bag took out a few 5 cents put them in then rooted again took out another 3 or 4 5 cent pieces, and again and again. This continued on and he minutes built up, my train had pulled in so I just left her at it.
I embraced my parents with joy in the station, and escorted them towards the car where the old lady was still empting her 5 cents into the machine and about 5 people queuing behind her.
Were you ever shafted by old people?

    Failed opportunity OP

You should have taken off one of your shoes and a sock, taken all her 5c pieces off her, stuffed them into the aforementioned sock and beaten her to death with it*

I can't possibly see how you could be in the wrong, the Gardaí would be MAD to prosecute you and her children/grandchildren/extended relations would all probably thank you afterwards too.

*I'm just posting this to get closer to my 25 post hump!

I tried paying for a train ticket with 5 cent coins, the machine hard locked with a screen coded error. Station staff member told me the DART card machines can't take more than 30+ odd coins for one ticket transaction.

My gran told me that she was leaving everything to me in her will. I went through all the trouble of getting rid of the old biddy and it turned out that she actually left nothing to me.
