    check out www.clewbayoutdoors.ie

they have two maps for decent bike routes which take you away from the traffic and past some pretty decent scenery

path suitable for anything from a mountainbike to a wheelchair.

Ballyhaunis .The Flat Mayo Plains then.

Re local routes your best bet is to talk to someone from the Annagh Wheelers local club.

If you willing to travel and start from Ballinrobe.
We have a few routes on www.westernlakescc.com if you click on the South Mayo training routes link on top of the page. Route 6 and 9 have hills and would give you some basics.

Also if you click on the Polka dot link on the right it gives the maps for the 3 routes which cover all the hills in the area.

Some of these can be worked into routes from Westport.

Starting from somewhere like Foxford you could head around Lough Conn and into the Nephin Range and hit the Windy Gap. Castlebar CC website may have routes for this.
Also maybe worth looking up websites for Swinford CC and North Mayo Leisure cc to see if they have routes up

Achill route they using this Sat for the Jounior tour would be good. It will be well marked for the next few weeks as they always put plenty of paint down
