Are any of the Mayo towns /villages having a festival in August?
We're planning to do some touring in Mayo with the kids in the first week or two of August,
would be nice to catch some local festivities.

Bring the young ones to lovefest during Siamse Straide. It's an experience.

Westport Music Festival has been good in previous years. 5th to 8th Aug. See link to web site above. An experienced team behind it.

Agreed entirely, it's a crackin' weekend, something for everyone. Toby's bar is right in front of the Westport Mall and the main stage. Great atmosphere. Roll on August!!

Hey I agree with the guys and gals on the Westport Music Festival, do check out the website and on Sunday August 8th, Lá Oidhreachta Chathair na Mart or Westprot Heritage day is co-organised by the same commitment of the music festival and Gnó Mhaigh Eo (www.gnomhaigheo.ie) Heritage day is a fun packed family day out and free of charge.....handy out I think:)
